Ir Amim has exposed both Israeli and international audiences to the realities and consequences of the Security Barrier around Jerusalem. Between 2004 and 2006, Ir Amim hosted nearly 6,000 people on study tours around the length of the route of the "Jerusalem Envelope." Among the participants were Members of Knesset, Parliamentary aides, high-level staff from various government offices, elite IDF units, school administrators, urban planners, leaders in the American Jewish community. Ir Amim has also hosted key players in the international diplomatic community including representatives of foreign parliaments, delegations of the European Union, Ambassadors from nations with embassies in Israel as well as thousands of Israelis form the general public. To date, Ir Amim has hosted almost 20,000 people on study tours along the route of the "Jerusalem Envelope"
