Rightist Group Boosting Efforts to Evict Arabs, Settle Jews in East Jerusalem

Nir Hasson reports that settler organizations have filed 12 eviction suits against 51 Palestinian families in Silwan’s Batan al-Hawa neighborhood, putting 300 Palestinian residents at risk. Ir Amim said that settler organizations, “under the auspices of a discriminatory system, are dispossessing and uprooting the Palestinian community from its houses, and dispossessing Israel of any chance of a future diplomatic solution.”
