Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: Discussion for Tisha B'Av on the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif

After two weeks in which the situation surrounding the Mount has been in turmoil, and tensions rose in Jerusalem and throughout the country, and a moment before Tisha B'Av, when the destruction of the Temple is marked in Jewish tradition, we invite you for an evening of discussion on the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif.

In this evening, we will try to make sense of the latest events on the Mount; we will ask how the Mount shapes the way Jerusalem's residents look at the city and how this is connected to the latest tensions; and we will attempt to examine the meaning of the site for the two peoples that live here.
Speakers:
Eliaz Cohen, poet and peace activist
Tehila Friedman-Nachalon, Chair, Ne’emanei Torah Va’Avodah
Aviv Tatarsky, Coordinator, Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif monitoring project, Ir Amim
